Summary

Paleogeomorphology is a new and perspective branch in geomorphology. It deals with the relief study during the separate periods in geological past with the help of buried under the layers, displayed and restored paleoforms. For that  purpose geomorphological, geological and geophysical methods of investigations are used. Paleogeomorphology as a scientific branch is not only of great importance for examining the historical relief development, but it has a significant practical application in mining ores and minerals, associated with the ancient relief.
