Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to invite you to take part in a scientific conference on topical issues of the geographical science and the place of geography in planning and land use at national, local and regional level under global change conditions.
The main objective of the conference is to provide an opportunity for members of the BGS and their colleagues from the country and abroad to present the results of their research within a plenary and several thematic sessions. Furthermore, we aim to advance the recognition of geographical achievements, facilitate creative discussions and generation of new ideas, partnerships, and friendship.

31 July 2016 – paper submission
10 August 2016  –  deadline for registration and payment of conference fee

Conference languages: English and Bulgarian

The papers will be published in Conference Proceedings with ISSN number and offered free of charge to each participant. The Proceedings will be distributed on CDs and placed online at the BGS website (http://geography.bg). Selected papers will be invited for publication in special issues of scientific journals.
