Националният комитет по география отправя официална покана за участие на 35-тия Международен географски конгрес в Дъблин, който ще се проведе в периода 24-30 август 2024 г.

От този месец се приемат заявки за сесиите на конгреса.

The Irish geographical community are delighted to invite you to participate in the 35^th International Geographical Congress (IGC) which will be held in Dublin, Ireland from 24th-30th August 2024. We are very pleased to have this opportunity to welcome you to Dublin, and Ireland more broadly, and to have this unique opportunity to share the best of global geographic research, share common challenges and opportunities, and connect with colleagues from across the world.

I invite you to explore the various pages of our website - available in both English and French -  to find out more information on registering, attending and participating. We will be updating it regularly but for the most up to date information and important reminders, please do sign up to our conference newsletter here.

Many Commissions are planning pre- or post-congress events in Ireland in a variety of locations and you will hear more from each of them about their plans. A particular exciting prospect is the Geography Olympiad which will take place outside Dublin, the week before the Congress. We will open our call for sessions in May this year so please do keep checking back!
