Online workshop “Linking Science and Policy for Conservation and Sustainable Use of Biodiversity”
Bulgarian members of YESS are pleased to invite young specialists in the field of ecosystem services, conservation and biodiversity in Bulgaria to join an online workshop on November 3 and 4, 2020 – 3 pm CET co-organized by the Young Ecosystem Services Specialists (YESS) and the West African Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (WABES). The theme of the workshop is “Linking Science and Policy for Conservation and Sustainable Use of Biodiversity” and it aims to provide valuable knowledge to address gaps between scientists and policymakers and to bring good practices to the science-policy interface at the national level.
In two days of panel discussions with some experienced policy-makers and researchers as panellists you will learn about the challenges they came across and ask for advice that they would like to give for starting in this field and to achieve positive outcomes.
